Smurf Cupcakes

As a kid I loved watching the cartoon, Smurfs.  Mr. P, from Delicious, Delicious, Delicious made Smurf Cupcakes; Using Smurf Marshmallows, blue sugar crystals and peppermint cream cheese icing he made these cupcakes are as cute as the little blue cartoons.  Here’s the frosting recipe:

Peppermint Cream Cheese Icing

150g cream cheese, at room temperature

350g sifted icing sugar

1/8 tsp peppermint extract

  • Simply beat everything together until creamy and smooth.
  • Slather over your waiting cakes – this should do 10 cupcakes, but I do use a lot, so you may get more.

      I love these! I always watched smurfs when I was a kid, so the cupcakes bring back memories – super cute!

      where did you find those marshmellows? please my daughter wants a smurfs party and they are adorable!
