Hello there sweeties! I am sad to say but this may be my last post here on All Things Cupcake. I have loved working here at ATC but we are currently having some issues and I may not be on the payroll anymore. So after almost 4 years here, I am going to do what I always wanted to do- I am going to make a post about my own cupcake stuff in my Etsy shop!  It is called StayHomeCupcake and it is full sweets and treats.   I have a passion for crafts and sweet crafts are my utmost love!

This has to be one of our favorite sayings here at All Things Cupcake! And now for only about $5, you can wear it on your nails. Fun? Yes! Quirky? Yes, that too!  These decals are being sold on Ebay from seller yr_nails_online and they have many, many different designs.  It seems that decal nail art is very much in (sweet) style!

How to apply:
1. Paint your nails with a clear base coat or a colour of your choice

2. Cut the Nail Decal to size allowing for some excess to trim

3. Soak the Nail Decal in warm water for 30-60 seconds

4. Remove from water, pat dry on a tissue and peel design from backing paper

5. Position onto nail and smooth down with finger and trim excess with nail scissors

6. Apply generous coats of clear top coat to protect your beautiful new design

7. Enjoy :)

I love using a little clipart to brighten up my computer projects and what could be more perfect than cupcake clipart?  These totally sweet sets are available from Etsy seller, Dream Like Magic. Their shop is filled with over 200 graphic designs sets to be used for cards, invitations, Facebook covers, scrapbooking, stickers and Etsy banners.    I bought a banner from them a few years ago for my own Etsy shop (Stay Home Cupcake) and I could not be happier with it.  The only problem now is that Dream Like Magic has so many new choices, I may have to buy an update!

 Wilton has some amazing new cupcake products and A.C. Moore wants to introduce you to them this weekend! Stop by one of their many stores on Saturday, February 16th from 1-3 and see free demonstrations of the new products.  FYI- if you sign up for A.C. Moore’s emails, they send you free coupons every week!

There is still plenty of time left to find something sweet for your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day! How about this adorable neclace from from Etsy seller, The Wicked Shop. It comes to us from Canada for only $9.20.   This pendant started out as a plain ole Scrabble tile, but The Wicked Shop turned it into something special. Someone please let me honey know that I would love to receive this next week!

I love walking through the stores this time of year because so many stores pair cupcakes and hearts in their Valentine’s decor items. So far I have spotted cuppies in the Valentine’s sections at Walmart, Target, Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Christmas Tree Shop and Kohl’s.  So a big thank you to all the stores who join cupcakes and hearts this holiday season.  You make it so much more special for the cupcake obsessed.  All Things Cupcake appreciates you!

My family and I are busy planning our next trip to Disney World and when I saw this on Etsy today, I had to share.  It is cute, sweet and petite and I love it!  It brings together three of my loves too- Disney, cupcakes and jewelry.  For only $8 from A Girl and Her Clay, this handmade polymer clay Mickey Mouse cupcake is a great deal!

Here on the east coast of the US we are hunkering down and riding through hurricane Sandy. With 50+ mile an hour winds and over a half a foot rain, it is a good day to stay indoors.  So while we are stuck inside, how about making some sweet cupcakes! These cupcakes were from Coastal Cupcakes in North Carolina during hurricane Irene but I am sure with some colored fondant, you could make them as well.  I love the pop of color in the red cylone and the two red hurricane warning flags. Hopefully my power will stay on long enough to make these today.  Stay safe cupcake fans!

Looking for a cool old school way to display your cupcakes? Check out this unique 3 tier record stand being sold on Ebay this week. Yes, it is a bit pricey at around $50 with shipping to the US.   But My_E_Room is also selling just the cake stand handle and rods as well for only about $12.  So if you have some old records laying around, you can make your own stand! 

Over the past few weeks I have shared with you some of my favorite cupcake jewelry finds. I’ve shared a cool bracelet and a sweet pendant and this week I am moving onto rings! It was way to tough to just pick one so here are two fabulous finds. This unique silver & brass ring is from Etsy seller Angela Gomez Jewelry and is a great price at $28.  I am also loving this pretty and yes a bit kitschy cupcake ring from Kelsea Echo Studios.  It is a steal at $7.50!  And as icing on the cake (pun intended) they are donating 100% of their revenue to the American Heart Association until October 19th.  Two very sweet rings!

Earlier this week I shared with you my favorite silver cupcake necklace I found on Etsy.  Well, now I am in love with this peace, love and cupcakes cuff made by crafter CrowStealsFire.  It is cool and sweet at the same time and at only $22, it is a great price too!  And with over 300 amazing and beautiful jewelry items in their shop, I may have to purchase more than one piece!

I am such a sucker for sterling silver.  Earrings, bracelets, rings, charms and, of course, necklaces!  My most recent favorite silver find is the perfectly sweet handmade pendant from Etsy seller, Jodi Spade.  I just adore the pink Swarovski crystal cherry on top!  It is $38 and comes with an 18″ chain.  Make sure to check back here to ATC this week for my fav bracelet find too!

I know it seems early to be talking about Christmas but many of the stores started their Christmas displays in August!  Kohl’s may not have their displays up in their stores yet but they are online and they have cupcakes! My favorite has to be this mini tree skirt for $14.99 and this light up snowglobe for only $6.74.  Gotta start making my Christmas list!

Everywhere I go I am seeing pumpkins, scarecrows and candy corn so it must be time to get ready for Halloween! Over the years we have posted quite a few cupcake costumes for adults, kids and baby and finally we have one to post for your puppy too! Kohl’s has this sweet costume for $25.   Or your pup can sport this Katy Perry look-alike costume for $26.  A bit much for me but so hilarious!  And when you dress up Fido as a cupcake, make sure to send us a photo!

Sometimes it’s the sweet and simple things that really catch my eye on Etsy. And today this whimsical mini cupcake coin purse is calling to me! Misala’s shop is filled with adorable treasures and I am already thinking they would be perfect stocking stuffers for everyone in my family. Make sure to look at her Russian doll pouches too.  So stinkin’ cute!

My little princess’ birthday is coming up soon and I am thinking the Disney Princess Cupcake Party Game may be the perfect gift.  In this game, little ones work with the Disney princesses to make cupcakes before the fancy party.   Players follow recipe cards to pick the a pretty liner, frosting, and topper.  It is available from Target and Toys R Us for only $16.99.  I can’t wait to play!

I am loving this Cupcake Stepping Stone Kit I found on Walmart.com today.  Each kit comes with enough supplies to make one 12 inch stone.   I would love a whole path of these cupcakes leading up to my front door but for $16.47 plus .97 shipping for each, I may just have to settle for one accent stone for my garden.  They also come in flower, star, turtle and many other shapes and have been spotted at Michael’s too.

Ever since I was a kid, I have had a big sweet tooth. I can remember going to the grocery store with my mom and just drooling over all the candy bars and sweets.  Just last year, my hubby and I ventured to Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York and I truly felt 8 years old again.  Just walking in that store you get a sugar high from the sweet smell!  They had pretty much every kind of candy you could ever dream of.  And they had cupcake stuff too! You must check out their site to see it all but here’s two of my irresistible favorites.  FYI- The store was started by Dylan Lauren, the daughter of famed designer Ralph Lauren.  Love this family!

My little girl has so many hair clips that end up all over the house and usually right under my feet!   AJO Creations has a simple and sweet solution.  These clever little holders hang on the wall so you can clip those little clips right to the hanging ribbon.  Love them all but of of course the cupcake is my favorite.  But for only $3.75 each, maybe I can afford them all!

A few days ago Candid Cupcake shared with you how mason jars are very in right now.  She is so right- they seem to be all over Etsy!  Mason jar covers, Mason jar candles, and of course, Mason jar cupcakes.  And I know these aren’t technically Mason jars but how amazing are these faux icing topped glass jars?    For $28 you get a set of 6 colorful creations made by 12 Legs Curiosities.
