Last week I ran into my local Kohl’s and was excited to see all of the cupcake items they were offering for valentines day. You could easily decorate your whole kitchen in red, pink, hearts, and cupcakes! These items would also make great gifts for your special valentine. For the kitchen there are cupcake placemats, aprons, kitchen towels and a vinyl tablecloth. The table wouldn’t be complete without the 3 stacking bowls, cupcake shaped mug and spoon, and the serving platter. You are also going to want the cupcake hand towel and my Kohl’s had a cute cupcake sign that isn’t on the website. These cupcake items are on sale and affordable so be sure to stop by your local Kohls since Valentine’s Day is only two weeks away!

I really think I need this cupcake pillow cover! I love the repeated cupcake pattern and the hearts on top of the cupcakes! The pillowcover measures 15.7”x15.7” and is $44.00 from Madura Home.

These cupcakes are simply amazing! I actually don’t know if I could bring myself to eat one.

Find the book Cupcakes, Cookies & Pie, Oh My! by Alan Richardson and Karen Tack and you can get to work on some fashionably cute cupcakes. Maybe these would make a good addition to your next girls’ night. The decorating possibilities are endless.

I just found these cute plastic cupcake bibs at Meijer. Cut down on the cupcake eating mess (well, maybe a little) and get some cute photo opps! Or, for $5.99, it would make a great baby shower gift for the cupcake-loving mom-to-be!

Check out this new book, Cupcake Cakes, by Lisa Turner Anderson. It’s awesome! It’s full of ideas of how to combine several cupcakes into a greater design–cupcake synergy! And each idea comes with photographs and instructions. It’s inspiring! Want to make a giant pink princess crown out of nine cupcakes? Or how about a cute blue whale out of 13 cupcakes? Or an almost cuddly teddy bear out of 19 cupcakes? Or a soccer ball? Flip-flops? Polka-dotted dinosaur? All of this could be yours!

So many people ask me what my favorite bakery is and I always have to answer Crumbs! I love their huge, overly sweet treats. They do tend to be a bit pricey but to me, they so worth it. And even if you don’t live close to a Crumbs, they will deliver. They have a variety of shipping options but the cheapest is UPS ground shipping for about $20 (plus the cost of the cupcakes). They come delivered in an insulated container with dry ice. Check out these football cupcakes- great for the party that has a mix of Giants and Patriots fans.

I shiver the think of all the uses I could get out of a cupcake ottoman. You can sit on it, rest your feet on it, store treasures in it, let the kids play with it–what a fantastic addition to your cupcake home decor! I found these at Meijer for $49.99 each. These were the only two colors I found, but there weren’t many left when I got there, so your Meijer might have more options!

Sometimes I buy items to give as gifts pretty far in advance. While it’s great being prepared it can be hard to keep things a secret. I bought this cupcake rug from Skymall in the fall and saved it to give as a gift this month. I know the recipient reads ATC on a regular basis so I had to resist writing about the rug until after the gift was given. The rug was $29.95, measures 30″L x 28”H, and actually looks really nice. Skymall has a few other cupcake items available on their website so if you buy the rug be sure to look around the site!

Come on now, we can all admit that at least once we didn’t have time to make breakfast and we grabbed the first thing we saw on the counter – a cupcake(or cake, brownie, pie … the list could go on).
Apparently designer, Kate Spade has done the same and has proclaimed it on a tote bag.

Looking for some interesting cupcakes to take to a Superbowl party? I’m not sure how I feel about Buffalo Chicken Wing cupcakes, but if there’s ever a good time for trying out something like this, then Superbowl Sunday would be the time.

Blue cheese and hot sauce make this cupcake unique among other cupcakes. And, of course, the chicken wing that tops it all off.

I was recently wandering around my local Meijer when I discovered that Wilton has a new (and very exciting) line of kids’ cupcake decorating fun. If you’ve got a little baker (or decorator) in your life, you should definitely check this out. Or, even if you don’t, you still might want to check it out.
And here’s a video demonstration of the “Topping Tornado.”

When I Grow Up Print-Stephanie Corfee
Over the weekend I spent some time browsing around Society6 checking out some of the different artwork the site has to offer. I loved some of the fun cupcake prints that are available! Since it’s been raining the past few days in North Carolina the Pick Me Up On A Rainy Day print seems perfect. I also really like the When I Grow Up print, I would love being a cupcake sprinkler too! The Operation Cupcake Printwas another one that I liked. I love that the cupcakes were brave enough to jump out of the plane! Each print is available in different sizes and there are lots of other cupcake prints to choose from!

All day I have felt like I am trapped in a giant snow globe. Snow has finally arrived in Chicago and it has fallen continuously all day long. So, in light of all this, I decided to Google snow globe cupcakes. Here’s what I found.
These are really cute and would be especially fun for a detail-oriented person. Find detailed directions on this blog.

These look a little more challenging (in my opinion). This person bought a clear plastic ornament, cut off the end with a saw (that’s why I say challenging), sprayed the inside with water, and then swirled in some white decorating flakes to give it a snowy appearance. The figures are made of fondant.

Either way, your cupcakes are sure to impress!

Okay, so this isn’t a traditional All Things Cupcake delivery, but it’s Friday, so I figured what the heck–who wouldn’t like to see cupcakes shot from a cannon? The video was inspired by Johnny Cupcakes–go figure. Enjoy!

My son (3) claims that Elmo is drastically underrepresented in the cupcake world. But I just found this decorating idea at This Mommy Loves, complete with instructions. She recommends red Wilton cupcake wrappers, but I’ve also seen Elmo cupcake wrappers at my local craft store, so you might want to look for those too!

Finding cupcake jewelry that doesn’t look too kiddish can be tough. So today I headed over to Etsy to see what kind of cupcake earrings I could wear with pride without someone asking me, “Are those your daughter’s earrings? “

I have been looking for some healthy and creative ways to incorporate veggies into my picky baby’s diet. After visiting the Whole Foods website, I think I have found the thing, and it just so happens to be in the form of a cupcake (though I will probably confiscate the frosting and eat it myself). These carrot zucchini cupcakes incorporate both a green veggie and an orange veggie into a cupcake. This recipe also adds additional nutrition by using whole wheat flour and replacing some of the oil with unsweetened applesauce. I can’t wait to give these a try!

I know we keep sharing cupcake items from Perpetual Kid but this one was too good to not tell you about! How fun are these cupcake chair covers? I love them and love the idea of using them for a birthday party, although in a cupcake lovers kitchen, they would make great everyday decor. Each chair cover costs $24.99 and you can choose from either pink or blue.

My cousin attends High Point University in North Carolina and for her birthday we decided to send her cupcakes. Knowing Magnolia Bakery’s cupcakes are her favorite we wanted to send her a half dozen but quickly realized the shipping from New York to North Carolina was crazy and cost more than the cupcakes! Instead we decided to try to find something more local and affordable. In our search we came across Little Bit O’Spice and we were incredibly happy to purchase the cupcakes from them. Little Bit O’Spice, located in High Point, North Carolina, makes custom cakes, cupcakes, and pies. After calling to inquire about placing an order we found out how easy Little Bit O’Spice made the process, she was even willing to deliver the cupcakes to the dorm at the University!
We needed to order a minimum of a dozen cupcakes so we chose six vanilla and six Oreo. Little Bit O’Spice offered to include a card and was willing to work with us on the delivery date. She took PayPal for payment and for a $3.00 fee was able to deliver the cupcakes to the dorm as long as she had the dorm name and the recipients phone number. I talked to my cousin on Saturday after she received her birthday cupcakes and she loved them. She said that it was a great surprise and the cupcakes were great.
You can place orders by calling 336-905-4353 or through Little Bit O’Spice’s website where you’ll find other items like cupcakes on pretzel sticks!

Just the other day I blogged about how we spoil our dog and how you can find some fun cupcake treats at Petco. Today our dog got a special surprise, dog cupcakes from Sprinkles Cupcakes! Upon returning home from a business trip in Dallas, Texas my dad presented me with half a dozen cupcakes for me and a small bag. The bag had two mini cupcakes with fondant bones on top for our dog! The doggie cupcakes cost $2.50 each and are sugar free cupcakes topped with yogurt “frosting.” Read the rest of this entry »
