Cupcake Bike Helmet
Posted by stayhomecupcake on Wednesday, July 11th, 2012
While perusing through Target today I was so excited to see something I have never seen before. This adorable cupcake helmet is only $22! I love all the lollipops, candy and cupcakes but the best part has to be the cherry on top! It is available in most stores and online. Too bad it is made for kids ages 8 and up because I would totally wear this!

Posted by CandidCupcake on Sunday, July 8th, 2012
These piña colada cupcakes not only look to be a tasty summer treat, but they are also claimed to be a heart smart recipe. With fat-free whipped topping, fat-free cake mix, and no egg yolks, this recipe certainly has some health perks (not to mention all the nutrients found in pineapple).
And what’s that stuff on top, you might be wondering? That’s toasted coconut. Yum!
Brooks Cupcake T-shirt
Posted by hungry runner on Sunday, July 8th, 2012I absolutely love my local running store, Fleet Feet Raleigh. They always have the best training programs, fun runs, and products. On a recent visit to the store I noticed a Brooks running shirt that had a cupcake on it! The shirt which is shown to the left, reads “run happy” is available on the Brooks website. The shirt comes in three different colors and short sleeve for $34.00 or long sleeve for $40.00. I have to admit I definitely run so I can eat cupcakes so this shirt would be perfect for me!
More Walmart Cupcake Products
Posted by hungry runner on Saturday, July 7th, 2012I have come to count on Walmart to have a few cupcake products every time I go in the store. I was excited to find the cupcake cups shown above for only $0.97 in the party section. They also had robots if you are looking for favors for girls and boys.
Walmart’s Hallmark Card section had several cupcake items including the cupcake gift bag shown above. The bag came in three different sizes, the middle size cost $2.97. There was also a pack of glitter cupcake stickers, shown to the right, that would make fun party favors or an easy gift if you include them with a birthday card.

The World’s Most Expensive Cupcake
Posted by CandidCupcake on Friday, July 6th, 2012
Bloomsbury’s, a cafe specializing in boutique cupcakes and other sweets, opened at the Dubai Mall last week. At the opening ceremony, The Most Expensive Edible Cupcake, named “The Golden Phoenix”, was unveiled. The cupcake is valued at $1,010 and comes on a 24 carat gold cake stand.
What makes this cupcake so valuable, you might be wondering? Ms. Shafeena Yusuff Ali, in her quest to create the world’s most expensive cupcake, used these five expensive ingredients: Doves organic flour from the UK, Rachel’s organic butter from the UK, Amedei Porcelena cocoa from Italy, Gold Ugandan vanilla beans, and an edible 23 carat gold sheet.
Cupcake Poptarts
Posted by cupcakeSerenity on Friday, July 6th, 2012
It’s true–I never once imagined confetti cupcake poptarts. But, now that they’re here, I’m wondering what took Kellogg’s so long. Of course we need cupcake flavored poptarts, don’t we? A sweet vanilla cupcake-flavored center topped with white frosting and confetti sprinkles? Of course! And get them while they’re hot–limited edition only!
Staple’s Back-to-School Cupcake Items
Posted by hungry runner on Friday, July 6th, 2012
I ran into my local Staples looking for a planner and found some great cupcake items in the back to school section. They had a cupcake shaped tape dispenser for $7.00 and a jar of paperclips topped with a cupcake for $3.00. In the Post-It section there was a notepad with four different cupcake designs in one pad for $2.99. I was unable to find the items on the Staple’s website so you will have to visit a store to find these cupcake desk essentials.
Hostess Wedding Cake
Posted by stayhomecupcake on Thursday, July 5th, 2012I have been a big Hostess fan ever since I was a little kid. There is something special about opening up one of their plastic packages and enjoying that overly sugary sweetness. Yum! While surfing the Hostess website today I found the coolest wedding cake ever! It took the groom only one hour to make this cake from Twinkies, Cupcakes, Ding Dongs, Ho Hos, Suzy Q’s, Sno Balls and Mini Muffins.
They also had several recipes that use the desserts to make new and different creations. I so want to try this Black Forest Dessert that is made with a whole package of Hostess cupcakes!
Beach Cupcakes
Posted by cupcakeSerenity on Thursday, July 5th, 2012It was hotter than hot here today, so I found these photos from Flour & Sun Bakery refreshing! I especially love the shark cupcake, with what looks like a fondant fin. Simple, but oh so clever! I will definitely be stealing this particular idea! Stay cool cupcake lovers!
Happy Belated Fourth of July
Posted by hungry runner on Thursday, July 5th, 2012I hope everyone had a wonderful Independence Day! I enjoyed my day off but had a difficult time telling what day of the week it was when I returned to work today; it kept feeling like Monday! While I was out yesterday I found some Fourth of July cupcake items like this cupcake balloon at my local Kroger grocery store. I also saw very cute Uncle Sam cupcakes at our local Whole Foods. Did anyone celebrate with patriotic cupcakes?
ATC Review: Women’s Cupcake Costume
Posted by hungry runner on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012
Halloweencostumes.com offers a huge selection of costumes, including several cupcake costumes. There are cupcake costumes for babies, kids, and adults, ranging in price from $21.99 to 51.99. ATC was sent the Women’s Cupcake Costume to review. The costume costs $42.99, and there’s a matching toddlers cupcake costume if you were looking to match your child!

The costume arrived very quickly after it had been shipped. My first recommendation to anyone who buys this costume is to follow the first instruction as soon as you get it. That means taking the costume out of the bag and hanging it up! The costume definitely needs to be hung up so it can take shape and to get the wrinkles out. I loved the bright pink tulle top and the fun turquoise bottom. I also liked the multicolored sparkling sprinkles although from up close they do look like Band-Aids. I have to admit I thought the costume, which is a size 4-10 was short. I am 5’5” and the bottom of the costume was more than halfway up my thigh. I think if I were to wear this costume outside my house I would buy the suggested matching fishnet tights or the knee-high legwarmers. Read the rest of this entry »
