Cupcakes and Makeup

A few weeks ago I posted a makeup giveaway from Cake Mineral Make-up and I was amazed by the amount of interest we had.   And it got me thinking, why would cupcake obsessed people also be in love with makeup?  Well, makeup can be fun, pretty and make you feel good- just like a cupcake.  Makeup allows you to be creative-  just like a cupcake. (Of course, it probably also helps that the majority of our readers are woman too!)  So why not pair these two unlikely loves more often?

MAC Cosmetics Sugarsweet Collection

Playful seasonal shades of pink, lavendar and mint green dominate this fun confectionary collection of eyeshadows, lipsticks, lip glosses and other cosmetic delights. Tasty names such as Dear Cupcake, Red Velvet and Perfect Topping make this a wonderful choice for the cupcake enthusiast!!

NARS cupcakes!

Skilled bakery ‘Dots Treats‘ in South Florida crafted these cosmetic coture cupcakes for a NARS event at Neiman Marcus. Incredible! My love for cupcakes is only rivaled by my love for makeup- so these are especially fantastic to me. Click on the image to see them in their full sized glory!
