Sprinkles Cupcakes Expanding Cupcake ATM Enterprise

Have you ever had that dream where you go to grab some cash out of the ATM and all of a sudden the machine just starts spitting out… cupcakes? Sprinkles Cupcakes in Beverly Hills, famous for being the first bakery dedicated to cupcakes, has had their trademarked Cupcake ATM next door to their flagship store for over a year now. Sprinkles Cupcakes is making progress on setting up the 24-hour treat dispensers at their other locations.
The Chicago and Dallas Sprinkles locations already have Cupcake ATMs in place (Dallas’ machine was just installed last month). Houston’s Cupcake ATM is scheduled for installation in October and it will feature a number of improvements over those machines already in place. Allowing for the purchase of more cupcakes with each transaction and cutting the total transaction time in half, the new model Cupcake ATMs, starting with the one Houston will receive, are going to be better equipped to handle the volume of cupcake transactions the established machines have been handling each day.
Some like the privacy afforded by the Cupcake ATMs. No one needs to know what flavor you’re buying and if you’re picking a cupcake up as a snack on your way home from the gym, you can eat it at home with only your pets to judge you. Though with some of Sprinkles’ dog-friendly cupcakes also available in the Cupcake ATMs, you can include your furry friend when you indulge. Despite the conveniences the Cupcake ATM can provide, as more of the machines appear, there will still be some reactions more along the lines of the main characters in CBS’ 2 Broke Girls.
