The countdown is definitely here. If you haven’t figured out what kind of cupcakes you are taking to the Halloween party, the clock is ticking. If your preference is spooky rather than silly, then here are some creepy cupcakes for you.
I personally like the Witch’s Cauldron cupcakes (hover your mouse over the picture and a box will pop up giving you tips for making these). Use chunks of orange gelatin for the inside of the cauldron, candy bones and skulls, and licorice pieces for the handle and the spoon.
Looking for a cool old school way to display your cupcakes? Check out this unique 3 tier record stand being sold on Ebay this week. Yes, it is a bit pricey at around $50 with shipping to the US. But My_E_Room is also selling just the cake stand handle and rods as well for only about $12. So if you have some old records laying around, you can make your own stand!
This made me laugh out loud. These parrots were created by Krazy Edible Creations of Muskegon, Michigan. They are a brand new mother and daughter cupcake team. Look for a website soon!
I love these skeleton cupcakes from MyRecipes.com. The little hat wearing skeletons made from frosting, m&m’s, mini jelly beans, mini cupcakes, and chocolate wafers! These look like the perfect Halloween cupcake recipe to make with little kids!
I am always on the lookout for good gift ideas for my friends and family. I came across this Coffee, Cupcakes, Wine t-shirt and know it would be perfect for some of my friends that love all three! This shirt sounds like the perfect foods to enjoy on a lazy sunday! The shirt costs $30.99 from Skreened and is available in several different colors.
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, I especially love seeing all the different, creative cupcakes people come up with. My favorite Halloween cupcakes this year are the Kawaii Halloween cupcake toppers by Next to Nicx. Instead of going with the traditional scary halloween monsters and ghoul, she chose to create really adorable little monsters, bats, and ghosts! The Next to Nicx website features detailed picture instructions and the downloadable template.
