Duncan Hines Frosting Creations

Today I ran into Walmart to pick up a few groceries and I noticed a display for a new Duncan Hines product, Frosting Creations. Frosting Creations are flavor packets that you stir into frosting to create new flavors. The steps are really easy, start with the frosting starter and choose one of the 12 available flavor options. Make a hole in the frosting center, add the entire flavor packet, and stir until well combined. The flavor options include bubble gum, cotton candy, chocolate marshmallow, cherry vanilla, cinnamon role, white chocolate raspberry, and more! At my local Walmart the flavor packets were $0.94 each. I have tried both mocha and the bubblegum flavors,the mocha with the starter…way to sweet and the bubblegum with a small container of coolwhip.JACKPOT…the kids and adults went nuts over them when given the two different kinds at church to try….Bubblegum won hands down mocha was just to sweet….I am going to try the mocha with coolwhip to be fair….but we have a winner with coolwhip all the way around….

How Fun! I can’t say enough good things about the frosting creations. I made cupcakes for mother’s day. I tried the raspberry chocolate and mint chocolate. I found it very easy to mix the packet into the frosting base. I was very pleased with how lively the flavors were! I can not wait to try the other flavors! Of course everyone will have a flavor they will like over another flavor. The mint chocolate was very sweet and I made sure to use that sparely. I did love the raspberry white chocolate flavor. can’t wait to try other flavors!
