Here in the East we have seen the temperature dropped quickly and it really does seem Fall-like outside! Here on ATC we are showing our love of Fall by bringing you a perfect little Autumn giveaway. One lucky fan will receive this Halloween Cupcake kit from Peter Pauper Press. Each kit includes: 24 colorful cupcake liners, 24 Halloween cupcake toppers (4 designs of 6 each), 6 different pastry tips, connector, pastry bag, and 32-page mini-book packed with simple decorating instructions for each design, as well as cake and frosting recipes. My fall cupcakes will take on the colors of the changing leaves in New England, accented with matching colored sugar, marzipan pumpkins and leaves :)

I love Halloween and cupcakes!!! nothing beats a Halloween decorated cupcake =) I would add green, purple,and orange frosting. Also, some spiders and skulls. For the little ones, something easy and fun, maybe some candy corn and orange cotton candy on top!!!

I like doing a candy corn themed cupcake where you use a dollup of orange frosting, then a dollup of yellow, and then a white tip. They’re cute, easy, and make a really cute display.

I love decorating cupcakes like turkeys and pumpkins! I adore using the candy corn.. and eating most of it in the process :)

I will decorate my cupcakes with fat strips of white frosting, criss crossing over the cake with eyes peeking out from under! Mummy cupcakes are the best!

I really want to try the spiderweb design on my cupcakes this year…you know the ones where you drag the toothpick across the lines of frosting to create that unique look? I think I’d make spiders to sit on top too out of chocolate and m&ms :]

I’m going to make cupcake ghosts using marshmallows and maybe even tombstone cuppies with the names of each of my Halloween party guests! :)

This is adorable.
I more so go with flavor over look for my cupcakes. For this reason I’m always on the lookout for pretty papers and cute little toppers.

i would decorate my cupcakes with black frosting and a huge spiderweb across the cupcakes. I would then make a spider using fondant/cupcake balls to create the body/legs. I would put candy corn and a little white chocolate skull underneath the spider web and place the big spider on top of it all for a spooky treat

I like to make scary cupcakes for Halloween with the novelty candies sold for the season (eyeballs, worms, brains etc.) Green, purple, and black are my favorite colors for them!

I like to cover them in orange buttercream then let the kids get creative with sprinkles and writing gel and make their own jack-o-lantern cupcakes

I like to make ghosts. I put a marshmallow on top of frosting, roll out some white fondant and drape it over the marshmallow to create my ghost body. Then I use food markers to draw the face!

I am going to make Orange coloured carrot sponge cupcakes and decorate them as pumpkins with green and orange icing, will make them healthy with the carrot and ruin it all on the icing sugar!

I bake from scratch blood shot eye ball cookies and then but them on top of cupcakes that i fill with red icing / strawberry jam depending on the age group im baking for. They are a tradition that I grew up baking with my mom every year and now I do them with my own daughter!

I like making chocolate cupcakes with green pistachio pudding for the filling, top with a smooth chocolate icing and chocolate sprinkles. cut up black pipe cleaners into 8 legs and bend into shape and stick in the cupcake, then add red hots for the eyes. You’ll have a scary gut filled spider cupcake :)

I like making Halloween cupcakes with a witchy theme. I love all the magical, witchy stuff. Lots of purple, green, orange and little black cauldron cakes. =)

I would love to do a mini graveyard cupcake. Chocolate or red velvet, maybe some gooey filling. And the top would be a chocolate and cookie crumbles graveyard with a dark chocolate tombstone and either a white chocolate or almond bark skeleton climbing out. (little head, arms, legs, etc… made out of a candy mold)

I have had a “spider” theme in my kitchen for Halloween the past few years – so I like making spider-webbed cupcakes and others that look like big purple and black spiders (using licorice as legs or Crate & Barrel’s spider leg cupcake stands)! I also like making mummies!

I decorate my cupcakes with skeletons, pumpkins, spiders and graveyards –
Graveyards – Color each cupcake with orange icing…sprinkle ground up orea cookie to look like dirt – top with nutter butter cookie (with RIP written on it) and put a candy corn pumpkin on it…
Spiders – color each cupcake with orange icing…inscribe a web with black icing. Put a fake spider ring in the center.
Skeleton – Color each cupcake with orange icing – top with ground up oreo…and lay a small plastic skeleton on top. I buy these at the local halloween store.

For Halloween I am trying several different designs. I have already made a batch of pumpkin cupcakes (vanilla cake with orange & green butter cream icing). I have made some using the pumpkin candy on top as well. Today I am making monster cupcakes: one eyed monster & orange alien. I want to make some spider cupcakes and maybe something really spooky (not sure what yet).

My six year old Grandaughter and I like to use fall and halloween papers.We decorate with sprinkles,candy,colored frosting,spray on colors,crumbled cookies,candy corn is her fav!She pretty much is in charge of decorating! And has a great imagination!But for me its all about the time we spend together!Happy Fall!

I’d be doing an array of designs to convey all aspects of the fall season and of course Halloween. Anything goulishly fun for Halloween is my favorite way to decorate cupcakes. Spiderwebs, pumpkins, ghosts, bats and haunted houses. And of course let’s not forget, “BOO”… You name it, I’ll find a way to decorate it.

I’m ecited to try new cupcakes this fall! I’ve seen Smores cupcakes, pumpkin cupcakes, and many other new recipes. For the pumpkin cupcakes, it only makes sense to ice them in green and add candy pumpkins for decorations. The picture above is a great idea and I would love to have new tips to make the grass look more accurate!

I love making pumpkin/apple spice cupcakes this time of year with cream cheese frosting and caramel on top. Mmmmmmmmmm And I stick some candy corn on top for looks :)

Halloween is my favorite holiday! I will be doing pumpkins, I love to color sugar because I think it makes it look really pretty. I will also ve making spider web because they are simple and look great. Maybe som creepy ones like missing fingers, I love the macabre and creepy!

This year i tried something new… I layered my batter after dying orange and yellow to appear like candy corn after baked. They turned out very beautiful and then frosted with a white/cream cheese buttercream and added a piece of candy corn on top… Fun times!!! My 2 year old decided as well that candy corn is her new favorite treat, good thing they only have it around Halloween!!!!

I made cupcakes for a pumpkin themed baby shower and used chocolate icing (dirt), leaf sprinkles, and a pumpkin candy in the middle to make it look like a pumpkin patch :)

We LOVE making cupcakes as a family! My little girls LOVE helping Mommy stir the frosting into stunning colors with food coloring. Also I let the girls decorate at least one cupcake of their own. The girls are only 1 & 2 so you can imagine the mess we get to clean up later but all worth the laughter, smiles and yummy cupcakes!! We LOVE candy corn! We are making a batch today to match our fall photo’s. :o)

i like making cupcakes with graveyards, pumpkins, owls, skeletons, but most of all….monsters!!! I bake the cupcakes then take a plastic bag and fill it with green or purple or orange or yellow or blue frosting, cut a tiny hole in the corner and squeeze out frosting in little squiggles everywhere then i stick two m&ms on for eyes, theyre soooo cute!

I do all kinds of different designs for the fall holidays. I collect small decorations from the dollar store and after season sales so I always have interesting decor on hand. One of my favorite things to do is to use crushed oreo cookies and gummy bugs of all types, they make things a lot of fun and remind me of childhood.

This year’s cupcakes will be cute not scary. Still with a fall theme such as pumpkins, cats, fall leaves etc. I will also be using decorated cookies as toppers. Having a fun party for all ages without the fright but all of the fun!!

I love making Candy Corn Cupcakes: 1st layer is orange, 2nd layer is yellow, topped with white icing and a candy corn on top!

I like to make pumpkin patch cupcakes. Make a couple look like classic pumpkins, with ridges, stems and leaves. But, throw a few Jack-o-lanterns in there to make it a bit more festive.
