The recipe for these strawberry cupcakes from Milwaukee’s Honeypie Cafe calls for strawberry gelatin and a healthy dose of puréed fresh strawberries. Jen Vernig, the one who requested this recipe, wrote, “This is my favorite sweet treat in the city…tasting so fresh and so delicious. I cannot say enough about how amazing this dessert is and how it represents the best of what Honey Pie does.” This recipe might berry well be worth a try!

This icing looks so rich and flavorful!! I’m a big fan of strawberry flavor cupcakes and I always keep my mind open for new ideas/recipes. One thing I wanna share with you guys is the stawberry flavor of PopsyCakes. They are a cupcake on a pretzel. (Isn’t that idea cute?) I’ve ordered half a dozen from their website and they taste gorgeous! I really like the combination of the cream cheese flavored white chocolate with the flavorful strawberry cake.
