Hot Dog Cupcakes

Did that title catch your attention? The name might not sound appetizing (okay, maybe it just sounds downright wrong), but these cupcakes probably aren’t quite what you would expect from the sound of it. The cupcake and icing themselves can be recipes of your own choosing. Top the icing off with a circus peanut (hot dog bun), a caramel square (hot dog), yellow icing (mustard), and green gum drops cut into small pieces (pickle relish). Doesn’t sound too bad, does it? These cupcakes are so adorable! My friends had a hot dog party (an 8 pound hotdog!), so I decided to bring dessert. I thought I was a genius using the circus peanuts for the bun, apparently I’m not the first!! They are so easy to put together and a real crowd pleaser!
