5 Minute Cupcake …

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug (MicroSafe)
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well…
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again..
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don’t be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
I was thinking you could disperse this into a few smaller teacup mugs and make sort of a cupcake! I don’t think you would have to microwave it for 3 minutes, but this is something you would have to test out. Unfortunately we don’t have a microwave as my place so i cant experiment! But someday I will!!

I made this a few months ago and i enjoy it…. It’s a spongy cake because it’s done in a microwave. Easy to do and very enjoyable

I wish I could say that this is good…but, alas – I would rather just eat a handful of the chocolate chips…

hey! the best way to “bake” this cake is still putting it in the microwave for 3 min but only with 750 watt :)

Great idea, tried with with the kids as an afternoon activity today, it was a smashing success. Only took about 2:15 to cook in our 15 year old 1000 watt oven. Thanks for sharing!

I’m impressed, I must say. Actually hardly ever do I encounter a blog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you may have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is excellent; the difficulty is one thing that not enough individuals are talking intelligently about. I’m very pleased that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for one thing referring to this.
