Martha Announces the Cutest Cupcake Contest Winners: 2009

Filed under: Cupcake Ideas, Decorating .My idol, Martha Stewart, recently announced the cutest cupcakes of 2009 contest winners and I have to agree they are cute. There’s a total of 18 cupcakes and by the looks of things, I am sure it was hard to narrow it down. My personal favorite are the Hedgehogs, by Ladybug Luggage. The two look like such a cute little couple, with the girl hedgehog wearing a little flower. After checking out her blog, I found that Mr. & Mrs. Hedgehog go on “adventures” which means the couple are dressed up aka decorated differently and even have little children hedgehogs.
I also love the Where The Wild Things Are cupcakes by Kitchen Dough Dough who always has unique ideas. I personally like that they are decorated without fondant and that they are an Old Fashioned Applesauce Spice Cupcake recipe with cinnamon buttercream frosting.
