Former Credit Strategist founds Cupcake Kids! to teach kids to cook in New York City
Sep 30, 2008 – NEW YORK, NY – Jessi Walter made a good swap when she turned in her blackberry and picked up a spatula. After losing her job at Bear Stearns, the former Vice President founded Cupcake Kids!, a hands-on cooking company for kids of all ages. Walter, a Harvard graduate with a degree in economics, says that she “set out to give kids hands-on cooking experience while learning about food and having fun in the kitchen.” Cupcake Kids! provides cooking classes, parties and special events at Pong restaurant in Greenwich Village or will come to your location.
