Monkey Bread Bakery in Memphis, TN

Monkey Bread Bakery is a bakery in Memphis, TN that is making the world sweeter…one num-num at a time. What is a “num-num”? Num-num is a word that the baker/owner Sarah’s husband, Joe, uses for anything that is tasty and delicious!
Their delicious homemade treats are a festive addition to any party, special occasion, or ordinary afternoon. All of their creations are baked from scratch using only the finest ingredients.
They have two sizes of cupcakes: munchkins (2-3 bites) and regular. The munchkin cupcakes are 50 cents each, and the regular cupcakes are $1.50 each. They require a minimum order of one dozen of one flavor for the regular and a minimum of two dozen of one flavor for the munchkins. The cupcake menu features flavors like Cookies & Cream, Vanilla Toffee, Top Hat, and Spumoni. I am personally looking forward to a little monkey business myself.
Please visit Monkey Bread Bakery for more info.

I’ve had several of these cupcakes, and they are so yummy! I highly recommend the Lemon Drop and Strawberry Fields Forever.

Sarah, owner/creater of Monkey Bread, has an excellent cupcake business! If you want the highest quality in cupcakes, you need to order from her for your next event (whether big or small). You will so glad that you did.
Exceptional, Sarah, thank you.

This talented baker is imaginative and creative. Everything I’ve ever tried has been very special and I look forward to working my way through the entire menu.

Hey.. is it just me or does this place have the same cupcake names as Muddy’s Bake Shop in East Memphis? Never tried the cupcakes and dont plan to. Im a die hard Muddy’s Fan!

I’ve had cupcakes from Muddy’s and they do not have the same names and Muddy’s is more expensive and are not as pretty! Monkey Bread Bakery is the best! Thank you Sarah! Keep up the hard work!

I cannot even begin to describe these tasty little cupcakes, that are so devilishly small, but pack a BIG punch. I once had a half dozen each of “Lemon Drop” and “Strawberry Fields Forever” and I ate through all in one night. I am not a compulsive eater, but I really could not stop myself. They were so light and refreshing, and I could taste the fresh fruit zest in each. These two are my all-time favorites, but are followed closely behind by the “Cookies & Cream” and the “Peanut Butter Cup”.
I have already booked Sarah to do my wedding reception in December and I am going to finally get to try the “Peppermint”. Num-num = yum-yum!!!

Monkey Bread Bakery is the best!! They are cute (something Muddy’s is lacking) and soooo yummy!! They are moist and always fresh. My favorites are Lemon Drop and Chocolate Hazelnut. I want some icing right now!!

By the way, Monkey Bread has been baking in Memphis longer than Muddy’s so if any of the names are the same, Monkey Bread had them first :)

Muddy’s for the win!!!! Sorry Monkey Bread, there’s only one cupcake in town good enough for me, and they belong to the illustrious crew at the adorable and super cozy Muddy’s Bake Shop. Couldn’t bare to try anything but the best!

Muddy’s for the win???? This is not some stupid competition. I cant believe that you are trash-talking about another business like some little child. If “mud-slinging” is all Muddy’s can do, then you should be ashamed. Are you really so insecure about Muddy’s business that you are willing to bad-mouth M.B.B.? I have never had Muddys, but your comments have sure left a dirty taste in my mouth.

Well I wanted to try Monkey Bread so I reached out several times however she was always too busy for my business. I even tried one last attempt and I was very insulted. You say she was a business I beg to differ.I went to Muddy’s and they were very professional and had the time to take my order which ended up totaling $214.00. I am going to stick with Muddy’s who appreciates my business. There cupcakes are so moist and delicious I will never go anywhere else.

Wow. Ok, everyone…
I happen to own Muddy’s Bake Shop and I’d like for everyone to please calm down and remember civility!
Firstly, Memphis is definitely not a one horse town and we can comfortably support multiple baked goods businesses. Secondly, while I appreciate the sentiments, I don’t feel that it’s appropriate to belittle anyone’s business, especially on a blog post that is a positive review of Sarah’s business. Please remember kindness and respect this business owner’s hard work!

Quite insightful submit. Never believed that it was this simple after all. I had spent a good deal of my time looking for someone to explain this topic clearly and you’re the only 1 that ever did that. Kudos to you! Keep it up

The very core of your writing while sounding agreeable initially, did not work well with me personally after some time. Somewhere within the sentences you managed to make me a believer but only for a very short while. I nevertheless have got a problem with your jumps in logic and one might do nicely to help fill in all those gaps. In the event you can accomplish that, I will undoubtedly end up being fascinated.

Not to hijack this thread, but I want to know if I’m eligible for a short sale and I can’t figure out how to find a professional listing realtor… have you ever heard of this realtor? They’re listed in the city of sacramento, 20 min from me and I can’t find reviews on them – Becky Lund & Associates – Sacramento Realtors, 8814 Madison Avenue #2 Fair Oaks, CA 95628 (916) 531-7124
