Making cupcakes? Always fun. Taking them over to your buddies house to share all the cupcakey goodness without getting them stuck together or smearing your hard frosting work? Not fun.

I found a similar carrier in stores at Target for about $7. (They aren’t posted on the website, so I can’t send you a link.)
The holders are a good height to allow for generous frosting, and the lift-out tray is nifty. It’s not a gorgeous tray, but it works for a potluck and allows you to remove all of your cupcakes from the carrier at once. Having a carrier that works for minis is also great.
The main downside is that the little ridges for the cupcakes don’t hold them securely in place. If you have a long way to drive or expect a bumpy ride, use another carrier or don’t frost them before you arive. My “overflow” cupcakes that were placed “cheek by jowl” in a regular plastic container traveled much better.
